Book Presentation at UNIRI Rectorate

The University of Rijeka, the UNIRI Faculty of Law and Školska knjiga Ltd. publisher organized a presentation of the book: ''Regulation of Raffle Games in the EU'' by Prof. Hana Horak, Ph.D., Prof. Kosjenka Dumančić, Ph.D., and Prof. Ana Pošćić, Ph.D., on Dec 15, 2017, at the UNIRI Rectorate Aula Magna Hall.

The textbook was presented by Prof. Sanja Barić, Ph.D., Vice-Rector for Studies and Students of the University of Rijeka, authors and book critics - Prof. Nada Bodiroga Vukobrat, Ph.D., UNIRI Faculty of Law, and Prof. Eduard Kunštek, Ph.D., UNIRI Faculty of Law. The presentation was headed by Blaženka Vuk, M.Sc., editor of the book.

"This book has gained a prestigious status as the university textbook of the University of Zagreb. In social sciences there are almost never any great new discoveries, so a textbook is often the culmination of our work. This book is special not only because one needs to use his background and world knowledge to write it, but also because it deals with matters of European law," Vice-Rector Barić stated.

Prof. Nada Bodigora Vukobrat, Ph.D., Vice-Dean for the International Cooperation of the UNIRI Faculty of Law, pointed out there are no similar textbooks in Croatian, while Prof. Eduard Kunštek, Ph.D., emphasized the fact that this wide area, which includes gambling, is still in the gray zone in Croatia.
