In 2025, YERUN will celebrate its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of collaboration and impact! As part of the celebrations, we are thrilled to announce the YERUN 10th Anniversary Conference, which will take place on Thursday, 5 June 2025, in Brussels at Sparks.
This full-day event will bring together key voices from our network and beyond, influential EU policymakers, as well as partners and stakeholders from the higher education and research & innovation community in Brussels.
Europe stands at a pivotal moment. Our sector plays a crucial role in strengthening Europe’s competitiveness through Education, Research, and Innovation. Yet, current signals from policymakers and the evolving Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) suggest that this vital role is not fully recognised.
This conference is more than a celebration of YERUN’s journey—it is an opportunity to reflect, engage, and collaborate with the broader R&I community. Together, we will discuss how Europe can better allocate its resources, explore the evolving role of universities in shaping the future, and consider how institutions must adapt to the challenges ahead.
