The Center for Advanced Studies Southeast Europe, University of Rijeka (CAS SEE UNIRI) invites you to the presentation of the DBU-CEE Fellowship Programme with Croatia | Fellowships for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) for environmental and nature conservation, which will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 11 AM (CET) at Akvarij (Kampus Restaurant), Radmile Matejčić 5, Rijeka.
The DBU (Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt – The German Federal Environmental Foundation) has been awarding fellowships for further qualification in the field of environmental and nature conservation in Germany to young Master’s degree and Ph.D. students from Croatia since 2009. The Fellowship is open to students of all disciplines who would like to spend up to a year in Germany dealing with environmental conservation issues. With paid stay, students will also receive a free course in basic German (prior knowledge of the German language is NOT a prerequisite). The Programme is aimed primarily at students in their final years who are soon to graduate. However, the presentation is open for students of all years since the program is to be recurring in the future.
Dr. Nicole Freyer Wille, Head of the CEE Fellowship Programme for DBU, will be presenting the Fellowship Programme in Croatia and will be answering questions during the presentation.
