Jean Monnet Student Sports Law Conference was held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, organized by the Faculty of Law of the University of Rijeka, i.e. Sports Law, Sports Policy and Sports Diplomacy Centre, in cooperation with its Jean Monnet Chair in EU Sports Law, Policy & Diplomacy (Croatia) and Edge Hill University. This is the second such conference, now named Jean Monnet Conference.
We are very proud of our students Eleonora Petković who presented her paper ”Anti-discrimination law and sport in Croatia & the Netherlands” and Haris Džin who presented his paper ”Assessment of how sports disputes are resolved in Croatia”. Furthermore, we are especially proud of our YUFE student, Eirini Chrysovalanti Mandani from Maastricht University, who presented the paper ”Assessment of how sports disputes are resolved in Greece”. She participated in the conference representing the University of Rijeka because this academic year, she also attends the Sports Law classes at the Faculty of Law in Rijeka thanks to YUFE virtual mobility.
