YERUN university students are invited to explore how to apply AI in lifelong learning education. Participants will dive into the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in reshaping education, particularly in the context of professional long-life learning courses.
What to Expect?
Participants will take part in tailored training sessions on AI, exploring its key features and the broader impact it can have on digital education. These sessions will highlight how AI can play a crucial role in enhancing upskilling and professional development.

Hackathon Process
Participants will develop their proposals in a digital format using the Design Thinking framework, structured into five phases:
- Empathise – Reflect on the challenges professionals face professionals face to keep up with new AI tools and approaches.
- Discover – Listing what extended reality can provide in overcoming such challenges.
- Define – Focus on an AI-driven solution, highlighting its strengths and the unique value proposition it provides to lifelong learners.
- Ideate – Brainstorm and match the desired learning features with the capabilities of currently available AI tools, selecting the most effective.
- Prototype – Design and sketch your solution, developing a working prototype that incorporates your selected AI tools and features.
Who Can Participate?
Students from YERUN universities who are passionate about digital education, AI, and innovation are welcome to apply. No prior technical knowledge is required, but a willingness to learn and collaborate is essential!
