ABOUT THE LECTURE:
Two thirds of the world’s population will live in cities by 2050. The economic and social progress of our urban areas, our institutions, and our affairs depend on the diversity and resilience of the social fabric of cities. In addition to this importance, several forces erode this diversity and strength of social ties: from income or racial segregation to differences in education and access to work.
