Ambassador Mor Visits UNIRI

H.E. Mr. Ilan Mor, Ambassador of the State of Israel to the Republic of Croatia, visited the UNIRI Rectorate on Monday, July 27, 2020. The esteemed guest was welcomed by the UNIRI Rector Prof. Snježana Prijić-Samaržija, Ph.D. Madam Rector Prijić-Samaržija briefly presented the University of Rijeka, emphasizing the University’s projects, as well as the recent inclusion in the YUFE network (European University Network Project).

Ambassador Mor thanked Madam Rector for receiving him and pointed out the current projects of the Embassy of the State of Israel in Croatia, such as this year’s project where, for the first time, Israeli films will be broadcast on the Croatian Radiotelevision, as part of the Summer Nights program. On his Twitter account, Ambassador Mor also pointed out that he is looking forward to future cooperation with the University.

Prior to assuming the position of Ambassador of the State of Israel to the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Ilan Mor acted as Senior Political Adviser to the Minister of Justice Ms. Ayelet Shaked in Jerusalem (2016-2018). Since joining the Israeli diplomatic service in 1983 and throughout his career, Ambassador Mor has held various diplomatic duties with special emphasis on geostrategic problems at home and abroad.
