The Chinese delegation from the Peking University Health Science Center, headed by Academician Mr. Qimin Zhan, Ph.D., visited the University of Rijeka Rectorate on Friday, August 23, 2019. Within the scope of their two-day visit, the delegation also visited the UNIRI Faculty of Medicine, as well as the surrounding Rijeka region and the island of Krk.
The Chinese delegation included:

On this occasion, the representatives of the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Medicine and Peking University Health Science Center signed a Memorandum of Understanding, which is set to further strengthen the cooperation in the field of medicine.
Also present at the signing ceremony were H.E. Mr. Ante Simonić, M.D., Ph.D., former Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to the People’s Republic of China, and Mrs. Rita Zhao, Ph.D., member of the University of Rijeka China-Croatia Cooperation Committee.
