At a recently held meeting of the YUFE Strategy Council, held in Nicosia, the official representatives of all YUFE universities expressed their concern about ongoing political development and their effect on overall climate in Europe, especially in the light of upcoming European elections.
Therefore, YUFE calls for the revival of shared European values founded on democracy, social inclusion, and the celebration of our rich diversity. As a European Universities Alliance, we are dedicated to countering the rising tide of hostility and remain committed to our mission: to educate the next generation guided by the principles of European values. In an era of apathy and opposition to a shared European identity and values, we, an alliance of young European universities, stand united to lead the way towards a more inclusive, open, and egalitarian European future.
