Professor Danica Kragić Jensfelt, Ph.D., professor at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, one of Sweden’s leading roboticists, and member of the International Science Council of the University of Rijeka, has been named “AI Swede of the Year” by TechSverige, an industry organisation in Sweden for companies of all sizes within the tech sector.
The annual award goes to the individual which has contributed the most to the development and visibility of Swedish AI. Professor Kragić Jensfelt was awarded the title with the following statement: “With her world-leading research and many years of pioneering work, she shows the possibilities of technology and puts Sweden on the international AI map.”
