Esteemed colleagues, dear students,
May is the month when we traditionally celebrate the Day of our University – Dies Academicus. Because stopping the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is currently our highest priority, our activities are, hence, tailored to epidemiological measures and guidelines. The ceremony, along with other special events, will not be held in mid-May, but when the conditions are right.
We are convinced that, as during all previous years, you will accept our invitation and, together with distinguished guests from Croatia and abroad, celebrate our day in a time of ‘new normality’. Despite the delay, we will mark this year’s celebration by organizing numerous special events and handing out certificates of appreciation and recognition to our new professors emeritus, honorary professors, and all awarded students.
