We take this opportunity to invite all interested students, professors, and citizens to join the first edition of the YUFE Academy, a joint initiative of all members of YUFE European University, whose aim is to share knowledge and enable students, staff, and interested citizens to get the real feel of YUFE.
During the 5 weeks in November and December, 4 online lectures a week will take place at different YUFE universities, thus enabling the participants to ‘travel’ around Europe, i.e. to virtually visit 10 European countries and gain a unique experience of 20 very different academic classes. All 20 online lectures together make a program one can follow entirely or only some of its parts. All these little building blocks together make the YUFE Academy, a beneficial gathering and learning experience for YUFE students, staff, and citizens.
The YUFE Academy 2020 will focus on YUFE’s first focus area: European identity, and responsibilities in a global world. The lectures feature the values, culture, and roots of contemporary Europe, but also look ahead at the future of Europe, as well as the economic changes, education, and tourism in the world of and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on the co-creating and open spirit of YUFE, the audience is encouraged to actively participate by asking questions or making remarks.
The list of all lectures, including the dates and short descriptions, can be found at the following link.
Registration for the first 4 lectures remains open until October 27, 2020!
