The University of Rijeka, within the funds of the program agreements for financing of scientific and artistic activities, announces the very first tender for institutional financing of interdisciplinary research and development projects involving participants from the economic sector and/or the “UNIRI-INOVA“ community.
The tender is intended for financing or co-financing of interdisciplinary research and development projects of scientists from the University of Rijeka in cooperation and through networking with partners from belonging innovation ecosystem, which includes partners and participants from complementary parts of the so-called fivefold innovation coils, all with the aim of a mutual interchange of knowledge and consequent regional economic and social development.
The purpose of the tender is to support and incentivize achieving the objectives and quantitative and qualitative indicators of the UNIRI Strategy 2021-2025, and to fulfil internationally relevant indicators and objectives following the European Strategy for Universities. Proposed projects can include all forms of knowledge transfer, including:
- cooperation
- innovation projects, and
- technological solutions.
A total of up to 250,000 HRK will be allocated through the tender for a maximum of 7 projects lasting one year, with a maximum amount of 50,000 HRK per project.
Applications for the UNIRI-INOVA tender, including the completed and certified form, signed by the head of the institution, and attached to the Tender, are to be submitted in electronic form by February 28, 2022 to inova@uniri.hr with the remark ”For UNIRI-INOVA tender”.
