Special tenders have been issued under the Horizon 2020 project, in the amount of 122 million euros, and are intended for research related to COVID-19.
These tenders complement activities from previously published calls, and projects funded under new tenders should enable the rapid production of vital medical supplies and equipment needed for Coronavirus testing, treatment, and prevention, as well as develop medical technologies and digital tools to improve detection, surveillance and patient care. They are also expected to improve the understanding of the behavioral and socioeconomic effects of the epidemic.
The deadline for applications is June 11, 2020, and due to the extraordinary circumstances and the importance of a quick response, the results of the evaluation are expected very soon after the deadline. Detailed information on tenders can be found on the Funding & Tenders portal.
