On Thursday, November 3, 2022, the University of Rijeka hosted a meeting with the aim of disseminating the results of the projects Towards a European Framework for Community Engagement in Higher Education – TEFCE and Steering Higher Education for Community Engagement – SHEFCE.
In the introductory part, Dr Bojana Ćulum Ilić indicated relevant experience gained within the above mentioned projects, but also shared plans with the participants the University’s plans regarding its active position in the community in which it operates.
The result of the meeting was the establishment of a taskforce for the development of a three-year action plan for community engagement of the University of Rijeka (2023-2025). The plan will outline activities for relevant for further development of community engagement at our University.
