The YUFE Entrepreneurial Talk Shows allow the participant to learn from the experiences and advice of an expert in a specific area of the European Entrepreneurship Competence Framework (EntreComp) to promote an entrepreneurial mindset among students and citizens. The talks are designed as monthly meetings, each of them organized by the YUFE universities, and consist of two parts: one open to everyone who registered to the event and a second focused on YUFE students only, where they will have the opportunity to interact directly with the speaker.
The next talk show session, titled Servitization – transforming products (and resources) into services, is set to take place on October 7 and is hosted by the University of Rijeka.
Servitization is the transformation of products or resources into services. Today’s demand for high customization and has led to a situation in which satisfying customer needs by only providing tangible products is no longer sufficient and the offering of physical goods together with (or as) services are required to raise the value the customers receive. Servitization enables better utilization of the resources, reduces environmental footprint, and creates long-term and customer-centric driven relationships. Participants will learn what servitization is, the benefits, and challenges it brings to the world, and outlines its implementation in commercial or scientific organizations.
