At YUFE we were busy preparing physical mobility opportunities when COVID-19 hit Europe at the beginning of 2020. All physical preparatory meetings were put to hold and eventually physical mobility of students and staff as well. Luckily, we have been able to move most of our activities online and provide both YUFE students and staff with virtual mobility opportunities, such as online classes, training, etc. Keeping in our positive spirit, YUFE signed an inter-institutional Erasmus+ mobility agreement for the period 2020-2022/23.

In YUFE students are not just participants in courses, they are much more. Students are the co-designers of the YUFE Student Journey, which was clearly visible during the online Meet&Greet event that took place on Wednesday 24 March 2021. 41 YUFE Student Journey pioneers, gathered to meet each other, explore and discuss upcoming activities. During the Meet&Greet, the students had the opportunity to share their opinions, express their ideas and ask questions.

At the beginning of the first semester of the academic year 2020/21, 27 students from other YUFE universities enrolled in online courses at the University of Rijeka. We are proud that these 27 students come from all nine remaining YUFE universities, thus confirming the biggest possible interest in the courses at the University of Rijeka.
