YUFE offers students the opportunity to create their own study programme by choosing courses and activities from 9 other YUFE universities.
YUFE Student Journey
YUFE Student Journey is a programme that all students of the University of Rijeka can enroll in – the only requirement is to speak English at a minimum B2 level.
With the Student Journey, you get a chance to enroll in different YUFE courses and activities:
- University courses,
- Language courses and activities,
- Volunteering program,
- Entrepreneurship and innovation activities,
- Student mobility within the Erasmus programme,
- Individual lectures.
What comes after I complete a programme?
To earn a final certificate of the highest level (YUFE Student Journey certificate), you need to meet the following requirements:
- Pass the academic courses in a minimum of 12 ECTS,
- Complete the YUFE Induction course,
- Receive at least 2 YUFE Stars (including a mobility star),
- Participate in the YUFE Academy (at least three lectures).
*YUFE Stars are an innovative way of recognizing extra-curriculum activities and students’ competencies. At the moment, YUFE recognizes activities through 4 different stars: for mobility, for language competencies, for civic engagement, and for professional development.
Recognition of ECTS credits/credentials
If it is important to you that your participation in the YUFE programme is recognized with ECTS credits as part of your study programme, we advise you to explore the possibility of such recognition in advance (before choosing a course/activity) with the programme coordinator/head of the study programme or an equivalent function in your study programme.
Other YUFE opportunities and activities
YUFE also offers numerous other activities in which all students of the University of Rijeka can participate. By participating in such activities, students meet and collaborate with colleagues from other YUFE universities and get the opportunity to develop different skills, taking into account their own preferences.
